The ideal way to learn about the Sauna thermal
modeling program is to try the evaluation package. The evaluation
package is free for persons residing in the USA, Canada, Western
Europe and major Pacific rim countries. (For other countries, there
may be a small fee to cover shipping expenses, please inquire.)
The evaluation version of Sauna is nearly identical to the production
version. It is not a "canned" series of screen images. You can actually
create models and calculate temperatures using the same commands you would
use for the regular program.
However, although you can create any type of model, the
evaluation program will only let you calculate temperatures for
the sample exercises contained in the evaluation package booklet.
While the evaluation package is an excellent way to learn about Sauna,
it will not be very useful for any of your current design projects.
Please request an evaluation package now so that you can learn
about the many unique capabilities of the Sauna program.
CD or download?
You have three options for requesting the evaluation package:
Request CD and obtain download link. This is
the recommended choice. A CD and printed documentation will be
mailed to you. Also, the link for downloading the software will
be automatically emailed to you, giving you the opportunity to try the software
at any time before the CD arrives. The download link should be available
within a minute or two after submitting the form. You will need to
provide an email address and your mailing address
(see privacy below).
Download. This is
the best choice if you want to take a quick
look at Sauna right now. The download link will be emailed to
you automatically, so you will able to try Sauna within minutes
after submitting the form. You will need to provide an email
address (see privacy below).
Request CD. This is a good choice
if you can wait a few days for the CD to arrive. You will need
to provide an email
address and your mailing address (see privacy
below).
Privacy
The key question is: what will happen with my email address?
Thermal Solutions will not sell or distribute your email
address. We do send two or three emails a year to prospective
customers to provide news about the Sauna software. If you do not want
to receive these emails, just unsubscribe after receiving the first
email (or any time thereafter).
Phone numbers are optional and we only call prospective customers
in special situations (such as when the email address is typed
incorrectly). We promise not to sell or distribute your mailing
address or phone number, as well as any information about your web
usage or thermal design activity. This site does not set any
